@barrygaynor1025 What, and Matthew 7:18, too? How about Romans 8:30, 9:12 and Zephaniah? Not exactly the most reassuring statements. Also, what is MORE detestable - to gather sticks on Sabbath, hide loot from Jericho, use the wrong incense in a ceremony (Numbers 16:46) or... to forcibly keep slaves, have coerced marriages (Numbers 31:18?) and various pogroms, Inquisitions, Thirty Years Wars and schisms?
Which too, actually merit more direct divine intervention or supervision?
And also, can we do away with Romans 1:20, for now? There just isn't enough tenable context for it - not to mention the angelic version failed VERY badly in heaven itself, as one third of ALL angels suddenly didn't 'get it' in a realm with wholly VISIBLE, let alone invisible, 'qualities and attributes, clearly understood'.
And which surely pervaded that realm a lot more literally than they did in a post Fall Earth. Not that Adam and Eve apparently fully understood what a 'Fall' actually was, before they made choices (and for those not yet even born, too?)

@barrygaynor1025 Will they arrive at the idea that slavery has no further constructive use quicker than they did between 800 and 1865 AD, then, perhaps?
Or that there is some double standards, perhaps, on infanti-cide and abortion, across Numbers 5:11, Hosea 9 and 1 Samuel 15?
And who did instruct Torquemada, anyway? Also, when he did commentary on 1 Corinthians 10, did Augustine need more instruction, too? Say, on words like 'typoi'.
