Saville is an aside, the 70s were a very different time, and nobody called him out, even the monarchy and gov of the day. Sex criminals existed everywhere and probably still do, ask Epstein when you find him.

  12.  @Greenpoloboy3  that would be even more dangerous.. you know that the Tories have had secret meetings with Murdoch and his daughter is already involved with them?... Might as well hand your stage broadcaster directly to Israel.. it's a shame, the BBC produce great programmes that are enjoyed a over the world, and can offer a great selection of programming online and via radio and television, but they need to get more independent from gov interference, and accountable for the lobbyists and Zionist interference they get involved with.

  14.  @Greenpoloboy3  it's a difficult one, I hate adverts, which is why I rarely watch other channels, and also the idea that greedy private companies can then start to influence programming.. I also go along with the idea that less is more, I think that our commercial TV was much better quality before we went down the road of opening it up to every one and diluting the advertising revenue that itv recieve, they used to do some cracking programmes, especially investigative journalism.. I don't know, I'm happy with the licence fee. I'm happy that it's a state broadcaster that is paid for by the majority of British people and that whatever bunch of fly by nights we have in power don't have total say in its programming. But maybe the licence fee could be means tested, or taxation based that goes straight to the broadcaster without some dirty manipulative little UK government getting its hands on the money first. Taxation based would be fairer as it would be related to income... I'll come up with a plan... Sorry had to edit that. No sentence structure first time..
