  1. Linus has mentioned long lasting bugs not being addressed before, I wonder who by (seems to not be the linux people itself). Sounds a lot like intentional backdoors.

  2. This sounds more like a direct back door. It is irritating the nonsense that is put into OSes by default that should absolutely be off on desktop and for most servers as well.

  4.  @autohmae  It's secret so no one knows unless directly involved, though I guess he could be referring to meltdown but I don't think that is the case and it is not one I consider a big risk. Some of the fixed bugs lately have been much worse.
