  8. If you were really competent you generally never got to lead in the first place, which is probably true today too because there is always corruption. Or you were like vespasian who was a giant war hero then immediately banished to the hinterlands. Of course that ended up working out for him and he wound up as emperor.

  10. The people to blame are the ones who feel everyone must be controlled. That should not be the government's job to regulate every aspect of life and if they do the results are going to be awful.

Hitler didn't really have a coherent ideology at all just Germany rocks cranked to absurd levels but it is painted like some ideology when in reality the left is very caught up in an actual ideology and that is why nothing they say or do today really makes any sense. It is religious mania and is carried out regardless of how well it's working.
