  100. Nothing so creative as these people. Back in the 90s I was managing restaurants and had been working in restaurants for over 20 years. I was getting burned out and was thinking about just chucking it all and finding a different line of work. There were 3 managers and a few supervisors who were trained to open and close so there was always somebody to cover days off and vacations without issues until the owners decided they did not want to pay front line hourly workers 2 dollars extra an hour to be supervisors. This left opening and closing duties to be performed only by managers. So we said we needed to hire at least 1 more manager. Owners said no. 3 was enough. So we went on like that for about a month and then one of the other managers quit. That left only 2. We decided that we would work M-F. He would open every day. I would close every day. Then one of us would work all day Sat. And the other would work all day Sunday and we would switch that as well. The owners said they would hire a third soon. This went on for a month. One Friday night one of the owners came in to do a check on the place and I asked him how the search for a third and hopefully a fourth manager was going. He said oh we decided since you two were doing so well we would not hire a third and we never had plans to hire a fourth. I asked him if he was kidding. He said no. I then asked him if he knew how to close the restaurant. He said of course he did. It’s his restaurant. I started this place he told me and I can do everything in here. Good I said. I Quit. Have fun running your restaurant. Oh and don’t bother calling the other manager. He’s on vacation until the end of next week. I was gonna work doubles to give him time with his family so now you can call the other owners and figure out how to cover your manager shifts this weekend next week and next Saturday. I handed him my keys as hes telling me im making a mistake and he will make sure everybody knows how I quit. Ill never get a job again. I just went in back and grabbed my stuff and left. Later that night I get a call from the other manager. They called him up and wanted him to come in and close because I quit. I said yea I quit. They have no plans on hiring another manager. He said he figured as much. Then he said they threatened to fire him if he did not stop his vacation and come run the store. He told me he said well then I quit too. Lol Turns out he had another job lined up and was waiting for them to offer him the job before he told me. That place went out of business less than a year after that. I felt bad for all the employees but the owners were not worth working for after they decided to cut pay and manpower to save money

  110. How can you be a police officer and walk by that guy. Resigned. F that. Every one of the cops that just walked past that man should be suspended until they go thru sensitivity training. The cop who pushed him should be fired as should the cop who stopped the other cop from helping the man. When good cops let bad cops get away with doing stuff like this they become bad cops themselves. End self investigation by police departments. Have a board of many diff people from all walks of life judge complaints against officers. All police should be self insured paid for from their paycheck. Im sick of paying lawsuits for bad cops. There should be a databank where police can go to check on new hires from other places. Bad cops just go and get hired somewhere else. We dont need disbandment of the police. We dont need disarmament of the police. We need proper training. Proper ONGOING training Proper Psych testing before hire and during the first year. Proper ONGOING Psych testing. The end of the blue line needs to be now. The desecrated American flag needs to be stricken from the police force. They need to know its not us against them. Its us against us. We need to change it back to us for us. Good police need to step up and help get rid of the bad no matter what rank. Good chiefs need to get rid of the bad cops. Good Mayors and citizens and cops need to get rid of bad chiefs. Its that simple. The police have lived behind protecting their own for to long. They are supposed to be protecting the constitution and the public. When did they lose that ?
