Also I've noticed in my very very old van if I use good fuel, mobile , 76 , shell which is all I use now, I'm getting a much better performance my daughter was using less expensive fuel in her newer car and she had fuel injector problems a very costly , I also used a higher grade octane to clean out my engine and then went back to lower grade however no cheap fuel stations. A friend of mine filled up his truck at the pilot and it was tainted fuel which did his engine in and yes he was able to prove he purchased that fuel however who wants to go through that nightmare and he was a professional mechanic with backup vehicles of course however when you only have the one and things aren't running too well it does become stressful .
