  2. This! This is gold! Even I felt the same. We are paying 2k in rent. Our friends who bought last year got 750k are paying 12k + in taxes and it blew my mind when I got to know the taxes. Not to mention the other headaches that come with owning and I get to enjoy complete peace of mind and we live in a great location with awesome places ppl food and community. I am not going to budge from here for another 2 years and just wait and watch. I can afford to pay rent for few more years rather than pay these high property taxes and also become underwater
