  1. Carbon Dioxide is NOT the problem! We are, historically speaking, in a period of CO2 DEFICIT. All plant life depends upon it for life! Periods of much higher CO2 concentration saw a much greener, lusher world... the deserts bloomed with life. New life forms emerged at a much faster pace. The people who want to REDUCE carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will KILL THE EARTH if they get their way!! I sometimes wonder if that's not their hidden agenda...

  2.  @sayckeone  CO2 is literally IMPROVING things on our planet and they want to ELIMINATE it! You're right about the rest, too. Climate is literally about change.If nothing ever changed there wouldn't even be a word for it. "How's the climate there?" "How's the WHAT? What's a climate?" There are many cycles of weather and climate. Some last a very few years. Some last hundreds of years, and some last thousands of years. No one can live long enough to comprehend all these cycles; so we finally started keeping records, so as to better understand them. Then there is the (roughly) 11-year solar cycle, and the sun likely has longer cycles, as we move through different part of the galaxy. Recently it was discovered the sun goes through micro-novas, I think roughly every 100,000 years, and the next one is due relatively soon. THAT will be a challenge for humanity, and we may have to prepare to take the human race underground before that happens! That sounds a lot more urgent than carbon dioxide, doesn't it? So if we spend all our resources, literally quadrillions of dollars, reducing out "carbon footprint", what will be left the prepare for the next micro-nova? What do we then say to the green fascists?
