  1. Thank god for the suburbs, I live about 20 miles south of Houston, it's pretty nice here. It's not perfect, there are homeless people, there is some crime, but it's mostly a safe area, and people are mostly normal, you don't encounter far left creatures very often. When I do go into the city, usually for an Astros game, it's a whole different world. Just driving through you can see a noticeable difference in the kind of people walking around. And this is Houston, one of the more "normal" downtown areas.
