His argument doesn't appear to be in good faith. If you're supporting continued Israeli settlements and occupation in Gaza and West Bank, then you aren't giving Palestinians a path to a better life or dignity in their own homeland. Also, Germany and Japan changed after WW2 because they were built up economically with the help of the US. US and Israel have not done anything of the sort in Palestinian lands, in fact one could easily make an argument that US and Israel have worked to do the opposite.

Wrong again, I stated that Israel and US have not done anything to advance Gaza economically, you tried to claim that 5 billion was something, I pointed out that Israel has done 50 billion in damage, so that's a -45 billion. So on all counts you are wrong and lost this argument

You tried to argue that this guy doesn't support further settlements, I proved you wrong when I pointed out he supports the occupation, which involves further settlements. You tried to argue that Israel and US did invest 5 billion into Gaza, I proved you wrong by pointing out they did 50 billion in damage, so that is negative 45 billion. So again, you were wrong, and you lost this argument

@Moribunny Ian asked about his support for the occupation, he said he supported it. Take it up with him. Israel is already planning on settling Gaza, Likud members and Cabinet members met in January to plan for eviction of Arabs from Gaza and settlement by Jews. In addition they plan in West Bank at least 3,300 new settlement homes. All this as part of their occupation, and none of that leads to a two state solution, so clearly he's fine with it. Don't blame me for pointing out this fact, the fact that you want to be willfully obtuse about Israel is not my issue. That's a you problem.

@Moribunny Bro, watch the interview, Ian asks him about his support for the occupation. Ian points out that he's opposed to leftists who oppose the occupation, and Harari agrees with that. That is supporting the occupation. For example, If you say, I oppose those who defend a woman's right to an abortion, that means you support the forced birth side.

Second, Hamas didn't choose to stop holding elections, after they won big in 2005, Israel and Fatah worked together to block Hamas from assuming control, so Israel violated Democracy, then they blockaded Gaza. So, not only are they violating international law, they violated democracy, and imprisoned a population for practicing democracy. Then they opened fire on peaceful protestors during the March of Return, violating the right of peaceful protest and democracy. And now they are committing a genocide. Zionism is now Naziism.
