  1. Such a timely discussion.👌 Civilization is defined by our willingness and ability to use words instead of fists – in the absence of reason, violence rules. Without the freedom of expression true dialogue cannot exist, as experienced of late in our Western world. Thoughts expressed in 'The Art of the Argument' help to penetrate through 'mental manipulation'. Our children need to be protected from those who want to manipulate them, which seems to be on the increase, with solid arguments built on solid foundations, to equip and prepare them for a world being saturated with strange ideas. Yes, freedom of speech is essential and expressed in a civil manner even more so, in my view. An education in the 'The Art of the Argument' is the way forward, as you have shown by your good example Lex! Thank you 🙏
