  1. I recommend you move to Bend or Astoria or another town nicer than Portland. Portland is going downhill with riots and homeless problems like Seattle and San Francisco.

  7. ​@Sal Spencer Okay so being a red state automatically makes a state bad? Lol compare the qualify of life in South Carolina or just about any other red state to New Mexico. Compare the house prices and taxes in South Carolina or any other state to Massachusetts, California and Hawaii. You are terribly biased to the left.

  8.  @user-sv3tx9gm6u  I wouldn't go that far. They have a lot of great places to live at least if you make a lot of money. If you don't make a lot of money there are better places to live. Overall, Washington is a great state though and Oregon and California have a lot of bad but have a lot of good too. Basically, Oregon is better than California but Washington is better than Oregon.

  14.  @KW02712  New Hampshire is on the top of my list for places to move to. Especially once you get north of Concord it gets very nice especially near the White Mountains. It also becomes more affordable the further away you get from Boston.

  16. ​@Sal Spencer That's not true. Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Texas are all great states. South Carolina is good. There are ignorant people everywhere and the South has the kindest and friendliest people in the country. As for crime, South Carolina and Tennessee have some crime but aren't terrible. As for poverty, Mississippi has very high poverty but low crime. West Virginia has high poverty but low crime and they are getting better. Arkansas and Louisiana unfortunately have high crime and poverty in a lot of areas though. Northwest Arkansas and the Ozarks are nice. Basically the South like everywhere has some problems like any place but it doesn't make it a bad region.

  19. ​ @CommentLikeDescribe  Liberal cities and states are so expensive with high taxes because of the liberal politics though. It's not the only factor of why they are so expensive but it's a lot of it. For example, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland are much more expensive than Texas but Texas is a far more desirable state to live in. Also, the housing costs aren't the only problem with Seattle. They also have a lot of riots and a lot of homeless problems like much of the West coast. Same with Portland. Seattle and Portland's homeless problem still isn't as bad as San Francisco but it's getting there.

  20.  @feliciasampson8032  Yeah I love taking the ferry from Bremerton to Seattle. That whole area and most of Washington state as a whole is very pretty. My family actually lives on the other side of Port Orchard near the Belfair border. They live on a lake too.

  22.  @NHL633  I said Charleston not Charlestown there's a slight difference although it does mean the same thing. I live near Charlestown MA and it was maybe bad like 10-15 years ago. It has been gentrified and it's fine now just expensive. It's also a section of Boston.

Washington State and the Rocky Mountains are expensive though, so they are best for the wealthy and upper middle class but they are very desirable places to live. The other places I mentioned are affordable for most Americans and great places to live.

It's good to get both sides and I'm not even a liberal I am an independent and side with the conservatives on a lot of issues. America has problems like every country but is a great country overall with tons of great places to live and if you can't see that you're unamerican. If you don't like it here than move and I bet you will want to move back.
