British Empire was maritime power while Germany was mostly a land based power. When USA mass produced aircraft carriers are fielded, it's game over for Japan and Germany. US navy with it's mass produced aircraft carriers fleet was a maritime super-power larger than UK's Royal Navy. USSR has a larger population size over Germany + Austria for war of attrition.

RouGeZH, Smaller British navy was enough to blockade Germany. EU's land area is not proper continent since it has very little oil and iron when compared to North American continent. There are a total of 11 British WW2 Aircraft carriers (1939 to 1945) vs USN (14 May 1945)'s 28 fleet carriers and 71 escort carriers. UK's total carrier count for WW2 is similar Imperial Japan's total WW2 aircraft carrier count. In terms of amount of steel production and available raw materials, US out-guns the Axis powers. When Nazi Germany uses old men and young boys to defend Berlin, then there's a problem with young men resource pool. Both USA and USSR has a larger population pool for a war of attrition. Nazi Germany's take on naval powers like UK without a proper navy is plan stupid. https://youtu.be/1SdO-btKuds?t=638 "Fighting a Lost War: The German Army in 1943" by Dr. Robert Citino (U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center)

https://youtu.be/zinPbUZUHDE?t=1254 USSR has greater reserve numbers depth when compared to Germany. https://youtu.be/zinPbUZUHDE?t=1507 There a drop in 1917s time period, where Frauleins wasn't getting impregnated for 1936s fighting age population.

EU still has problems with oil and gas.
