Yes… traditional Chinese culture is still maintained in Taiwan while in China most of these traditional culture and morals got gutted by the CCP regime. The CCP basically wants to eradicate traditional Chinese culture they perceived as “weak”.

I agree many Chinese who fled China during the cultural devolution years (1964 - 1974) settled in the US as overseas Chinese and they are the ones who formed Shen Yun dance troop. Chinese culture is vibrant and beautiful but during the Maoist years it was gutted to a mere shadow and pale imitations. Many of the intellectuals, artists, dancers, etc. fled China to either the US, Taiwan, Australia, Canada, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, etc. and elsewhere still maintains these culture. Right now many young Chinese are starting to reconnect and rediscover their traditional Chinese roots thru Taiwan 🇹🇼 but the CCP crackdown continues on to this day.

I agree the CCP has basically gutted traditional Chinese moral values such as kindness, compassion, benevolence, justice, etc. It replaced those with lust for materialism, money, violence, and power. Communism isn’t even originating from China but rather from Germany via Russia. What the CCP has is Leninist style Marxism which is an all or nothing system that destroys basic human values and turns society into a selfish totalitarian state where the party/state elites controls everything even the very lives of its people. The people are reduced to nothing except mere cogs of the state party apparatus.

The CCP is all about control and one way to control 1 billion people is thru violence, intimidation, indoctrination and nationalism. They need to maintain that control so the CCP political elites can maintain their level of comfort and wealth using the Chinese people as cheap labor to be exploited.

@Soon Kwek It's not misinformation. CCP politician did say that. Of course you don't know. They censor his statement after he said it. He said the chained woman has contributed to 8 children to the population of the state after she was raped and it is good. This is the kind of people running the CCP. Not saying all of the CCP are evil but many are evil and uneducated. They think Chinese people lives have no value other than be used by the CCP as leeks and fodders that can be harvested at anytime "for the glory of the party".
