  1. Add Kazakhstan to the number of countries becoming politically unstable. Just got news today the Kazakh's Nazarbayev/Tokayev regime killed dozens of protesters and are requesting Russian troops to assist in quelling the revolt by their people. If Kazakhstan is embroiled in civil war China can kiss BRI by rail to Europe goodbye. Anti-Putin and anti-CCP sentiment in Kazakhstan is at an all time high and getting worst. Since Kazakhstan and Xinjiang (East Turkistan) shares a 1000 mile border it's definitely possible things can spill over.
