  1. Meh, We waste money and send money all over the world to people who hate US. From that perspective it’s probably not the worst. Much rather forgive student loan debt vs sending billions all over the world. However forgiving student loan debt has some profound unintended consequences. Do Veterans get a refund for their GI Bill? We earned it should we be compensated? What about those who paid off their loans? What about the Vocational folks who are Firefighters/Paramedics, Welders, Electricians and the sort? Why should we have to pay tax to fund debts that were consensual obligations taken on by students? Where is the accountability? I think what ever the student loan debt forgiveness is > We should have that same amount deducted from our principal on our mortgage…. But what if you’ve joined the military, did a vocational job and paid your house off? Then what? Fuck us right?
