Hittler gathered whole Europe under his belt before marching on Russia, except for UK too. Internal divisions made Russia crush Pringles' rebellion in matter of days. It's not divided at all now.

@petergarrone8242 At the times of Mongols Moscow was some backwater village and not a capital of anything. Initial slav settlers that came from the East came all the way down to Berlin (which is a slavic name, by the way) and Balkans with Sweden becoming the power that united them as Russia so Russia hasn't done near fair share of conqering of it's lost territories.
