I just read an article today about AI being used in many eligibility programs for many states, such as to determine eligibility for unemployment, SNAP, medicaid, etc. And also for determining which cases are fraudulent and even having the same AI review/deny the appeals! This was used for about 10 years to determine Michigan unemployment but was more recently nixed after so many people went bankrupt and even died because of the error rates. All of the AI programs I've read about have only been used for death and destruction. Everyone will be homeless or dead before the oligarchs allow AI to be used to aid humanity.

  83. This is not a future thing. It's already been happening for decades! Lots of states use AI/algorithms to determine enrollment eligibility for various programs that (are federal but) the states oversee such as SNAP, unemployment, medicaid and more. There was a great article a month or so ago that the algorithms are also used to deny appeals when people are denied disability or unemployment. Michigan had a huge problem with this where the algorithm accused people of committing unemployment fraud and then denied their appeals and send them letters saying they owed tens of thousands and would be charged with crimes. The system was called MiDAS. (Ironically like a Meidas touch destroying everything by turning it to gold for a few.) Of course it's also being used by health insurance companies but anyone watching this channel knows that.

Filing grievances is a better route. If you are on a Medicare Advantage plan file a grievance with both your plan and with Medicare and (if everybody does this) it could effect the plans star rating and reduce the money Medicare pays the insurance company. But yeah, arresting that lady for what she said is insane and both the judge and the cops should be charged and thrown in jail.
