  1. So the soil decreased by 60 kg and the tree weighed 72 kg..... how does that mean it's mostly air? Wouldn't that mean it's mostly soil and like 20-ish% air (CO2). Otherwise the soil would have weighed the same after the tree grew for 5 years.
