  1. Villain. You don't create chlorine gas out of benevolence. He just oversees the killing of 67,000 people from the gas right before his wife's suicide and they had an argument about his creating chemical weapons. Then he immediately leaves to go execute another gas attack?! She was a women's rights activist and possibly a pacifist. Also you can't create chlorine gas (among other chemical weapons he created and tested btw) and use it to kill so many people and then pretend you are suddenly pro-human rights when it's turned on your own people. The logic of a hypocrite.

  2.  @Ромыч-х7и  lol they were NOT socialist. The Nazi party just used that as a fake populist way to gain support while their propaganda machine ramped up it's brainwashing power. Nothing is less egalitarian that concentration camps. There's this invention called lying which sometimes works wonders for gaining power.

  3. He was bad. He intentionally created and tested poison gas to kill as many people as possible in the most horrible ways, not even pausing to bury his wife after she offed herself most likely due to his horrible deeds.
