  4.  @mauricesowerseliii3413  Nobody is being forced to take the vaccine. Also, why would people who get sick but don't go to the hospital not have an increased immunity? Everyone's immune systems have slightly different natural immunities depending on a thousand different variables such as preexisting conditions, current t-cell counts or any blood cell counts, previous exposure to other similar pathogens, etc. And you can't always know if you have a preexisting condition. Take heart disease for instance. 50% of first heart attacks are fatal, therefore much of the population that have heart disease do not either know about it or don't care to adapt healthy habits.

  12.  @Dougie1969  You do realize the bill increases taxes for the rich right? Which in turn pays for the bill.... I don't see why that's so difficult to understand. Also, it's only increasing the tax rate (for the rich) back to what is was 4 years ago (in some cases not even back to where it was). These last 4 years the rich have had, historically, the lowest tax rate ever in history!

  13. Investing social security, which is supposed to be retirement insurance, into the stock market and giving all that money to wall street to play with is the most insane idea ever. What if they 2008 us again? We also just have the 2nd and 3rd largest bank failures in history this year so what if they were controlling that money? How will retirees that rely on that money survive when the fund goes bankrupt because wallstreet squandered it paying themselves executive bonuses and then crashed the market by 60% again? The whole point is that social security is not there to make speculative investments but as an insurance policy that will 100% be reliable income. If people have extra money and want to put it in the stock market that's great but is a completely different idea.

Guess everyone that got cancer or in a car accident or endless other issues should have thought of that before they got sick and then fired from their jobs because of not being able to work while dying and then going bankrupt because of losing their health insurance because of the whole not having a job thing and then losing their house because of the previous things I just mentioned and oh look it's 2008 so lets give wall street another trillion while you die on the street after we fire you to "cut costs".

  18. How would you know if you have natural immunity that's any higher or lower than someone else and how effective that would be against any individual variant? Please do explain. Also, yes I agree we should be allowing people of other countries to get the vaccines as well but seeing as how our politicians voted against waiving IP rights we seem to just be throwing millions of doses away instead of giving them to others in need. Greed still won. I hate big pharma, but I still got the vaccine cause it's safe and effective and I didn't have to pay thousands of dollars for some tests to diagnose the effectiveness of my immune system (which I'm pretty sure don't exist anyway). Even if there are tests to determine someone's level of immunity against a variety of pathogens then we are still in the same boat cause guess who would make those tests? You might as well get the vaccine so we can be done with this pandemic and stop giving all my tax money to big pharma for the next round. If we want to do away with corporate profiteering from people suffering we need to inact medicare for all and socialize instead of capitalize human suffering.

  26.  @Getloose360  Normally ICU's are not overflowing. And I don't think there's some abnormal amount of heart attacks or car accidents occurring on a regular, predictable basis at the moment. Travel is way down so there's no way car accidents are way up. The only factor increasing and volatile are covid hospitalization rates.
