It's not just the big bills that are passed but the supreme court picks, the judges and the 1,000's of smaller decisions that nobody really reports on that have very long lasting effects. The destruction of our institutions and education system and federal agencies, environmental law ect. Lead poisoning and lack of quality education have lifelong effects.

  34. I read (last week) that Springfield has already had over 60 bomb threats and many more mass shooting threats and they have had to close multiple schools and hospitals and basically every football game and event in the area cancelled.

The US dollar would tank, the US federal credit rating would be downgraded raising interest rates and making it more expensive for companies and households to borrow money (which in case you haven't figured it out yet, basically makes the world go 'round in the US). The US dollar is kinda the reserve currency of most of the world and the standard to which most other are held. If that changes it would be monstrously disastrous for the US.
