In case you didn't watch the video they said Exxon Mobile controls the "government-owned" oil company. The government was more concerned with inviting western business interests to dine and dash in their country than helping their own citizens. And the US and oil companies are more of a "you give us or we take by force" type anyway.

@deegee2920 WTF does Marx have to do with trucks and wtf does potatoes in Montana have to do with California? Jeez you are all over the place. You obviously are just using buzzwords and haven't a clue what you are even saying.

@salahmoose9989 Shipping potatoes is super cheap compared to starting a war to give trillions to corporations for no reason. or maybe not bailing out wall street or giving subsidies to billionaires, bailing out airlines, buying corporate bonds at 0% interest to pump the stock market to further the wealth gap, etc.

Jesus, this is when the government needs to step up and buy the potatoes from family farms and send them to starving people around the world. I hear 1 million Afghani children are about to die from starvation due to US sanctions and monetary seizures, send them there! I'm sure Bill Gates will send his minions to buy up these peoples property and lease it back to them for 4x the price while still making them take all the risk. We give the billionaires hundreds of billions in free subsidies but people like these folks get "bootstraps".
