"The government makes it illegal to read books and have un-allowed thoughts." ... Ron Desanctimonious needs to be sued all up and down that state and really put in prison. Hell, we should put him in Gitmo so he can get a taste of his own medicine, maybe let his former prisoners get some justice.

If twitter owns the accounts then they are responsible for anything on the platform right? So any threats of violence etc. are actually illegal acts by twitter. Unlike every other social media platform in which the users own their own accounts and the site cannot be sued or held liable in most cases. If this is really twitters defense then I hope the lawsuits start rolling in soon.

So if nobody outside of Musk (or twitter) can actually own their own accounts, I would imagine that would mean that Musk (or twitter) is personally responsible for anything that is posted using those accounts. Any threats of violence or even the lawsuits against Jones could perhaps now also be against Musk since twitter users harassed the shooting victims parents into un-being-alive themselves, but since Musk actually owns all the accounts he would be responsible.

I don't care if she was literally sleeping the employer does not have the right to fine you. Fire her, sure. But making her pay them for working for them?! This is an incredibly dangerous precedent to set.

I mean he did say on a live tv presidential debate "POW's are losers, I like people who weren't captured." Basically the same thing as "I don't care about dead military members". I'm beyond stunned that anybody in the military could still support Dump.
9
There's no teacher shortages, just shortages of governments willing to pay and uphold basic human rights.
8
This is an incredibly dangerous precedent to set. Imagine if your employer can now charge YOU for every second you are in between tasks or blowing your nose or whatever! Imagine if you work in a service job (like 40% of the entire US workforce) and you don't have a customer at the moment, does that mean your employer only has to pay you for the exact time you are actively engaging with a customer?!

Driving independent family doctors into bankruptcy so they can buy practices for pennies on the dollar after illegally exposing millions of peoples data to the black market and refusing to pay the doctors the money they owe them. The US is a literal pile of steaming waste.

I bet that racist asshole gets a bazillion days off a year. Exactly like Steven Crowder crying that his contract is only for $50-75 million for 4 years plus a month and a half off plus 4 day weeks plus and extra $15k/day if he does an extra video... etc. then complaining that nobody wants to work anymore and oh, boo hoo, the poor business owners.
7
These walmart workers don't get paid enough to deal with assholes like that and that guy had a hell of a good attitude for being treated so poorly, good on him.
7
Okay, compare Trump to Bernie Sanders.
6
That's an excellent point at the end Brett! If Dems are supposedly letting all the murderers out of prison then why do republicans want to arm them?
6
Elon says all employees must be in the office 5 days 40 hours a week, why does that not include him? The man received the biggest paycheck in history of $56 billion and he doesn't even have to show up for work let alone do any work. Dude's on twitter 24/7 making dick jokes.
6
Jesus Christ how many things can you get wrong in one video?! Self-driving cars are ALREADY more safe than people driven cars. For fucks sake just look it up. The problems with AI driven cars is the ethics of AI. If there is an inevitable crash which path does the AI choose? Go to the right and potentially kill a person in that car or go to the left and potentially kill people in that car? That's the thing, with accidents involving people you can say that one person was culpable and either blame them or maybe they had a heart attack, but with self-driving the outrage is amplified since the person in the car was expecting a flawless experience even when faced with an impossible scenario for any person or program.

And the US complains about China's surveillance state... How is the US any different?
5
How would that even be legal? Isn't there some federal laws that would not allow them to ban random things just because they don't like them? I would think at the very least this would be an anti-competition issue

If this is the case then prisoners should be allowed to own guns too. On death row? Here's a gun. It's apparently unconstitutional to take guns from murderers.

Denying that Elon Musk is a smart dude is just not living in reality. Love him or hate him idc, but you have to admit he's the closest to real life Iron Man we may ever see and denying his intelligence after everything that he has accomplished is like saying Trump won. It's based on some fantasy land where everything is opposite.

License to kill handed out to everyone by the Court of Supreme Nuttery.

First of all, inflation is not measured solely in the price of a cheeseburger. Second, the price of a cheeseburger is mostly made up of cost of ingredients, shipping, food storage, etc. Cost of labor is a very small amount of that. Also, many Mcdonalds already pay $15/hr. So you're wrong just all around on everything. Congrats.

To be fair, it was probably an audio book.

Notice how there are only nazi countries history classes, or in the case of Spain, imperial capitalist slaveholding countries. "Look we get to learn about how Cortez brought "democracy" to the Aztecs". Desantis is just working towards straight up Nazi school down there. I'd like to see what the curriculum for those approved classes is like.

AI cannot have "racial biases" !!!!!! It literally can't have any biases seeing as how it's a program and does not have it's own likes and dislikes. How you program it is how it will act. Period. My god, what the fuck is going on with the Damage Report? I normally love John's videos but this one is just so bad I may never recover my confidence in his reporting. At the very least, never have that guy on your show again. Please.

If writers get royalties every time their shows appear on tv then they should also get them every time someone watches them on a streaming network. Hope the greedy executives cave quickly!

This is actually consistent. Musk is stating that he owns everyones accounts. Nobody outside of him (or twitter) can actually own their own accounts. Which I imagine would mean that Musk (or twitter) is personally responsible for anything that is posted using those accounts. Any threats of violence or even the lawsuits against Jones could perhaps now also be against Musk since twitter users harassed the shooting victims parents into un-aliving themselves, but since Musk actually owns all the accounts he would be responsible.

AI doesn't have to be limited to some invisibly small microchip to be a threat. That's a very strange hypothesis. Besides.... Moores Law and all. Also, haven't you seen I-Robot? lol Those robots were people sized and they posed a huge threat.

Japanese were allied with/were Nazi's so they get a pass. Notice how there are only nazi countries history classes, or in the case of Spain, imperial capitalist slaveholding countries. "Look we get to learn about how Cortez brought "democracy" to the Aztecs".

He leaves out the part where slave owners WERE paid reparations by the government!!!
1
Also the poor whites were basically slaves as well and were treated as such. They were only given better treatment and some rights when the slave owners feared they would collaborate with the slaves and overthrow them.

@cherylmersand1077 Oh my gosh, he is seriously Mexican?!?! That's some fucking irony right there. A bunch of nazi's following a mexican immigrant. Hahaha
1
Please title the videos accurately. I don't think this constitutes as being "stunned". They were literally cheering him on.
1
He said Mexico.

You can't say that crypto "isn't based on anything". That just shows a lack of knowledge about crypto. Dollar bills on the other hand, are not based on anything. Banks have been making fictitious money to loan out for a while now, it's not backed up or based on anything tangible otherwise 2008 never would have happened. Decentralized finance like Bitcoin is a threat to banks since they can't control it or create more of it, ever. That's why we the people like it so much. Not to mention the seemingly infinite applications that blockchain technology offers, or will offer in the future.
