@kinkane5566 you could say the same about slavery. Tradition doesn't mean moral. The general idea being to improve our moral qualifications, individual rights to equality and quality of life as we go along.

@max7even284 you know your point is proven wrong by the same comments that you commented on right? lol since Elvis and Steven Tyler, Ted Nugent, R Kelly, and many more were approved of by the parents. and they obviously were not quality boyfriend material lol PS. LSD doesn't come in pills.

@kinkane5566 that doesn't make it moral

@kinkane5566 your right, since I don't come from a culture that does arranged marriage i'm biased. However, if arranged marriage is ok then what about arranged jobs, or arranged housing? Kinda gets into communist territory the more you force major life decisions onto people. As to the young people (maybe 15 and under?) getting married thing though I guess comes down to more unpredictable definitions of maturity and age of consent (or when someone is considered adult). I think the problem is that too often an older man with influence (whether financial or charisma) and selfish intentions causes irreparable harm to a young persons life or psyche at a time in their life when they should have had an older authority figure fighting to protect them. Kinda similar to (but more extreme than) how you would never let a 5 year old child become friends with a 45 year old man who is not a babysitter and otherwise has no business inviting children to come to his house without their parents.

@kinkane5566 Yeah I actually totally forgot this video was about MJ lol I do have to have some sympathy for MJ because even though he did some questionable/obviously wrong things, I believe he truly did not understand society and was irreparably damaged by his fucked up childhood and was a product of our disgusting need for entertainment at any cost. And why were parents letting their children go over to his place alone anyway!? I mean if you compare him to like Jeffrey Epstein then it becomes obvious that he was doing bad things because of being misguided, damaged and lost himself rather than as a sadistic predator. But as far as customs and traditions go I try to judge things as if they were happening to me(still biased but at least less so I believe). Also, does it effect someone else's freedom or pursuit of happiness. So if men wanna wear purses and high heels, or even put biscuits in their butt, I have no issue because it has no bearing on my life. As long as my beliefs don't effect others in a negative manner then I view them as moral.

Being worth 1.7 Billion doesn't fill that hole inside or fix the disconnection from others, I mean if you have to pay actors to pretend to be grocery store workers just to understand what grocery shopping feels like?! damn, he was SOOO far removed from reality that no normal person can judge him from their own perspective. It's sad what America will do to make an 'idol' and what it then does to those idols after that. I think he was just super confused and lonely, he had no idea what friends were, what parents are supposed to be, or how people connect in a natural way when you don't have to pay them.
