So.... it takes less time to DNA sequence/analyze the virus, create 4 or so vaccines, do tests and clinical trials, manufacture hundreds of millions (billions at this point?) of vaccines and get all the syringes necessary than it does for one company with all financial hurdles removed to even start building a place to eventually make syringes? Wow. None of that makes any sense at all. Why not give the money to a company that is already producing equipment/vaccines to just ramp up production? Why give money to a company that doesn't even have a facility to begin with? This story would be too bizarre to believe if it wasn't Trump that did it. He probably found some shell company and said "hey guys, I'll give you 1.3 billion and you pretend you are going to help with vaccine stuff and we will just split the money and bounce."
