  1. Insulin is NOT mostly for people with type 1. Most cases of diabetes are overwhelmingly type 2, many of which (but not all) require insulin. Many more people are pre-diabetic, meaning they do not yet have diabetes but probably will at some point in the future. I know several people myself that have type 2 and need insulin. I don't care whether someone is overweight or not though, they don't deserve to be bankrupted by drug costs. I agree we should prioritize people making healthier choices to lower the incidence of preventable disease but republicans seem to be against that which just makes them hypocrites. "My freedumbs are more important than my diseases or your life" seems to be basically the republican moto.
