  1. That's prolly a little harsh to the caller. Most Americans have the same thoughts about national debt working like personal debt does, which means half of the problem is one of education failing. Also, I think he was assuming that some form of these two bills will go through as (hopefully) it's highly likely. I think it would have been informative for David to expand upon how gov. spending to increase jobs/economy/infrastructure is necessary and things like printing money to pay debt or give corporations and the 1% tax cuts just hurts the bottom 99%.
