Peterson has gone off the deep end. He is a pseudo-intellectual hack. He's got some good ideas, sure. But they are offset by the 17 hours of rambling about the osmosis of the metaphorical substrate where p meets q and quadrant 3 aligns with chakra 4. Not to mention that ever time you think you understand something he says he starts changing the definitions of unanimously accepted words. He actually used the phrase "it depends on what you mean by Jesus" when asked if he believed Jesus was resurrected.

@Joshua Song The problem with "having your life in order before you try to help somebody else" is that nobody has their "life in order". Nobody is perfect and everybody has major things to work on in life. Look at Gandhi. He certainly didn't have his life in order and yet he helped to liberate an entire country from the harsh rule of an empire. Martin Luther King Jr. didn't have his life in order when he was thrust into the limelight as the biggest activist of the civil rights movement. In fact, he wasn't particularly keen on being the leader at all until he realized that if he didn't do it nobody else was going to either. And there are nearly infinite examples of people with problems helping others. " Peterson preaches individual responsibility, which is why he criticizes large-scale university protests" What? that doesn't even make sense. You are quite literally implying that people cannot think for themselves and also have the same ideas as others. And protests are almost always used as a way to get someone to actually accept personal responsibility for their actions. Take the Floyd death. The protests were a way to say "hey these individual cops are responsible for publicly executing a black man just for being black". It doesn't have to be a single individual taking responsibility. It could be a group or an organization or even as broad as an ideology like protesting against neo-nazis.
