@Persivefire That's the whole point though. If everyone wants to eat meat for (let's just say) 2 meals a day. They only way to produce enough is by horrendous factory farming, which is not only bad for the animals, but also the environment. It's the leading cause of ocean dead zones (poop/pesticide runoff), deforestation (always need more land to grow soy to feed cows to meet the ever-growing demand for meat), ocean acidification, and greenhouse gas emissions. All good reasons to eat less meat. Or better for your health, stop for good. It's also the leading cause of death in the western world - Heart disease (basically non-existent on a plant based diet since there's no cholesterol and little sat. fat) not to mention diabetes, carcinogens...etc.

@Persivefire most people deficient in B-12 are meat eaters. explain that? Meat doesn't have that much B-12, and most of it is a supplement anyways, given to the animal. And don't claim that the Inuit are healthy, cause they don't live in a blue zone and have shorter life expectancy than any comparable plant-centric population.

@totalassuage you can just take a supplement. It's like easier than tying your shoes once a month. Plus most people that are B-12 deficient are meat eaters. So either way, you should take a supplement, obviously.

@NLTops Rape and murder are also part of the natural world but we as a society form laws to protect against them because they hurt and people don't like being raped and killed. So it's basically just applying that same philosophy to anything that has emotions and can feel pain. That's why vegans oppose others eating meat as well. When people claim that it's just a personal choice, well, personal choices don't effect others, and especially don't result in the death or torture of others. Just something to think about. Many things that are "natural" are not things we would condone today.

@joebie7315 Thank you! lol Man, some people's lack of logic is beyond baffling.

@ronfroehlich4697 Sorry to break it to you but meat and animal products lower testosterone, not raise it. Just look at Joe Rogan.

@YuiFunami Livestock takes up 50% of the land in the US. How is that less than crops? You do know that animals have to be feed in order to survive right? And they don't eat rocks to grow.
