if fabrication slows/shuts down, people have no jobs! No job no money, no money no money to go around in the economy. No money to go around in the economy no ability for shops to sell or the food industry to function. Over 20% young unemployment. Can't be good, and even older people having to take up jobs usually where younger people would be. IF that job even makes sense. Too many people, too few jobs paying, officially not unemployed but underemployed. How much money flow has evaporated? A lot obviously if restaurants and smaller outlets have to fold. Now lets say you want china to crawl up out of this hole, how? Their own productivity and income isn't enough to create a rich economy. And if exports keep crashing... where must that money come from?
