  1. So they keep on building planned projects but the rest around it is definitely falling in economic despair. So once these new projects are finished, who is going to use them... I don't think it matters right, see this project is something a few people can point at and say "WE MADE THIS" .. doesn't matters if it isn't used.

  2. They have build quite a few high speed rail lines with a lot of stations. A LOT Of stations, potential growth areas... Except the growth is so anemic in some areas that they just locked that station and trains just pass it. Of course a trainstation isn't cheap, having a line go through area... isn't cheap. And having a "growth area"fail is super expensive.
