  1. yeah if your family is even remotely teasing you for it I'd probably scarcely ever talk to them again. I mean I'm not gay or anything but I have a feeling they think I am, which to me is about the same thing anyway. Even if I WAS, if that's grounds for me to be treated differently that says a lot about them to begin with. But yeah all these "coming out" videos where the family actually accepts it and it's all lovey dovey, etc., that's not always the case. If any kids read this are afraid of what your parents might say or do if you told them you're gay, you should consider waiting till college to come out. Or till a time that you can pursue it more privately. If you're underage and they don't like it they literally could send you to a place like this, as much as that pisses me off to even realize.

  2. I am very sure most of them, especially just as they're beginning to realize they're gay, wish they could've been born straight. They probably imagine their lives would be much, much better if they had been given the chance to lead "normal" lives, versus spending all that time coming to grips with their homosexuality.
