Are you from Alaska/the area this is based on? I mean, if so that's cool, my brother was stationed in Fairbanks for a few years when he was serving in the military. It doesn't surprise me that there is corruption like that, though. If anything because at this point I think there is corruption at every level of government and I don't think it's just purely an American problem. As for the feds they pick and choose what they decide to "care" about and it's always changing depending on what basically is getting them the most negative attention at the time. And/or are simply corrupt, themselves. That being said, again, if I was one of those boys I would try to get the other three on board and see if you can't find a hungry attorney or two to see just what can actually be done in the aftermath of what is, clearly, just another example of justice not being served in the land of the free.

I wouldn't be surprised if they sue and end up getting something out of it in the end. Unless roman is right, where they had to sign something saying they wouldn't sue in order to get released. If so that's fucked up and I would find a really great high profile attorney, the four of them, and sue together arguing that they were extorted on top of being held captive unjustly for the past 18 years. All that and the gov wants to strongarm them into being quiet just so they can get out of a place they enver should have been in the first place?

The first thing I noticed about her was the eyes. I mean she almost has like this exotic, almost cat-like mystique about her.
