Comments by "voteZDLR" (@voteZDLR) on "Turning Teens Into Drug Runners | High Society" video.
I never even thought about it that way. These dealers are approaching kids like "Here, I'll give you $10 thousand dollars if you just look after my bag for a few hours." and inside the bag are drugs, knives, and various other forms of contraband. They then send their "boys" to rob you and all of a sudden they're like "Hey, I thought you were supposed to be looking after my bag? That bag was worth $3 thousand dollars. How are you gonna pay me back?" and then their boys simply give the products back to the dealer and then they've tricked these kids into having to work a debt off that in truth will never be repaid. They enslave kids in this way.

@markogaudiosi5243 If you can't comment on the subject matter of the video in the comments section I don't know where you can. That's like begrudging someone for farting in a bathroom. If not there, then where? Get over it.

@sugarhieroglyph Oh now I am going to do it just to spite you.

@DetroitFettyghost Yeah, that's probably where the enslavement part really comes in handy. Then they don't really have the option to leave.

@ManLikeMelly You sound like the type of dude who would know about a program called "Top Boy". Wait for the sequel "Bottom Boy" you may identify with that one more.

@himynameis3664 Hey, man. Congratulations on your sobriety so far. I know all too well how difficult that battle is. Just remember how it made you feel at the absolute worst so you never get back on that wagon again. It may temporarily make you feel good, but long term it's a losing battle. Even maintenance therapy is preferable to it, and now that fentanyl is on the scene it's more deadly than ever. You are right, it's an absolute curse and a scourge against humanity.

It is true though if the cops are about to raid your house, they like to come before the sun comes up. When you "least expect it". Drug dealers don't really stick to normal hours the same way normal people do though so I think the logic may be slightly flawed.

@emperorofpluto Why pay them when you can have slaves? They target these kids as young as 9 years old. Beyond that, did you even watch the video? You really think someone who is involved in the underworld is going to be a nice, honorable, upstanding citizen? Besides, what happens when they wanna leave you gonna hand them their 401k and let them go? They know too much. These are people who deal with getting stabbed frequently enough they need to carry knives, it wouldn't behoove me that they'd wanna leave after the first or second attempt. This is why you leave them no such option when you've tricked them into thinking they are in your debt. Then they CAN'T leave. They CAN'T say no. You may have missed the point, these aren't good people.

@happychappy27 No, most of them are working for free until their "debt" is paid off. That wasn't just the one example, it was literally repeated from beginning to end. They get you on the hook for a debt and then you end up "working for free" until it's paid off. They may give you a pair of sneakers while simultaneously tempting you with all of this apparent wealth and nice things that they have, and they may even really hook certain people by giving them drugs (and racking up more debt most likely on the heels of that, because nothing is truly "free" in this arrangement). Money though, it's a minuscule amount if any until you get older from the sound of things. Because yes, I did watch the video. Derrr.

@gabrielzzz12345 This video is about Britain, where the best they're usually going to get are knives which is what they said in the video unless you didn't watch it.

@himynameis3664 Same situation with me, actually. I detoxed successfully from Suboxone even really early in my addiction, then had a bad breakup and I instantly went into self-destructive mode. Got addicted again instantly and had to start over. It takes even more time and effort the 2nd time around in my experience, I am still trying to wean off of the Subs. It was never bad enough I needed methadone thank God but it could've been easily, my biggest limiting factor was I didn't have enough money to fund the habit. If that was the case, who knows man. But yeah I agree with you like if I was around for fentanyl to come around I'd probably be dead too. That stuff is scary potent.

@himynameis3664 That's fantastic brother. Keep fighting the good fight and like I said just remember how hard this part was forever, so you hopefully never fall into the trap again. I am pulling for you my friend. Stay strong.

@Keiran-qr2ty Never heard of it.

@Wangdalf It is at it's core predatory business, they'll do anything from that point on once they trick you into thinking you "owe them" something. If you're a woman I can easily see how they'd put you in the sex trade. Whatever they can possibly get from you, they will.

@KLR_BAN It could be a test of sorts too at it's heart. Some get preyed upon, others come up maybe in the same situations.
1
@KLR_BAN Well that's a dumb thing to die over lol but that's probably the kind of personality that rises faster in the drug world. That scene from Scarface comes to mind. They tried to rip him off and he not only gets the drugs, but he didn't even spend the money, next thing you know he's rising fast. I don't know, that's a dog eat dog world though.

@AuntAlnico4 Happens IRL as well apparently. What you think everything you see in the movies or on TV is totally fictional? Come on now.

@Christopher Jacobs Well eventually they get caught I guess but it's like a vacuum or something like you take one down, 5-10+ more pop up in their place. You merely succeed in taking the small guys down. But the higher ups and the really powerful drug cartel people only occasionally get caught and after a lot of effort and resources wasted. But all that being said not every drug dealer gets caught. I lived across the street from a drug dealer for over a decade and his biggest problems were rival drug dealers then he moved. He never got caught even once so he's far from El Chapo. Then again the rumor is he was an informant for the cops too so they let him do his thing and then he would actually give them information so as to avoid an arrest. A win win relationship on both sides so to speak.

It's a racket at this point. Trust me, they know it's a losing battle. They are making a fortune with legal fees and incarceration, especially in America, where the private prison industry is so powerful at this point. It isn't in their best interest to "fix" the problem. Also, when it comes to America, believe it or not these drug cartels and organized criminal syndicates are actually lobbying people in Congress to ensure that the drug war never ends. If they legalized or even decriminalized everything, drugs would lose value and their criminal enterprise would suddenly not have nearly as much income. They'd have to go back to like, you know, robbing banks and whatnot.
