@rappakalja5295 So, as of 1939, " the bonus remuneration was necessarily credited to the personal account of the prisoner. During the month, working prisoners were given money in the amount not exceeding the monthly bonus. In addition to the bonus, prisoners, depending on their behavior at work and in everyday life, could be issued with the permission of the head of the camp unit and personal money in the amount of no more than 100 rubles per month. The authors note that " monetary bonuses were paid to prisoners "for all work performed in correctional labor camps...". however, over time, the payment rules changed: "prisoners could receive earned money on hand in the amount of no more than 150 rubles (and not 100 rubles, as per the instructions of 1939 and 1947-ed.) at a time. Money in excess of this amount was credited to their personal accounts and issued as the previously issued money was spent. (ibid., with reference to GARF. F. 9414. Op. 1. D. 77. L. 28.).
