  5.  @Homeb  That is absolutely not the whole story. There is no denying that there is a big and direct correlation with the price at the pump and the price of oil. It is a cop out to try and blame it all on the oil companies. Of course they're a business and they take their share - but when the price of oil goes up, the price at the pump goes up - and vice versa. So, I do not agree with his point
