  2. It's that one party in the US is against public spending, but is fine with giving tax breaks to wealthy corporations. Infrastructure is a fantastic way to boost the economy that pays dividends for decades to come... insane it's such a battle in the US. However, China has the opposite problem - over investment in infrastructure. It gave them massive growth but now they're a bit reliant on it....vs organic growth through domestic consumption.
