  1. Something else that is interesting is how China is supposedly a "socialist" country...yet lacks meaningful social programs and safety nets. It's like they kept the authoritarian aspect of socialism and give none of the supposed benefits. All of the responsibility is on the people to figure it out for themselves, whenever hard times are thrust upon them

  4. Here is the wild thing - The mortgage strike is being censored in China. If people were actually allowed to see it - and it spread... it would be insaaaaane situation..... same with the bank situation on Henan and people not being able to take their money out. Their ability to hide and censor information allows them to have bad practices and policies that could collapse them
