@NaSaSh1087 You understand there are cycles in the economy that are often longer than a presidents term in office? The interest rate was lower during Obama also, that doesn't mean it was his policy that caused it.

@NaSaSh1087 Inflation has next to nothing to do with the current administration, if you want to blame inflalation increasing policies there were much more of those during the Trump administration. The cycle of economic growth started after the crisis of 2009 and inflation jumped due to recovery from covid and energy prices from the war in Ukraine. Nothing to do with Biden's choices. Trump was a big part why Russia even dared to consider starting a war, we all have seen how much he appeased the Russians.

@NaSaSh1087 It was Obama that extended drilling and built pipelines as far as I remember. How much individual companies drill isn't up to the president in the US though, but the companies decide how much they do that based on market prices. Strategic reserves are very low and the president affects those, so you could say Biden actually has reduced inflation pressures on energy prices that he largely can't control in global markets.

@NaSaSh1087 That fact that you don't even understand the difference between strategic reserves and just reserves of oil that is still in the ground means you should just stop talking about the topic. Strategic reserves are lower than in a long time, because during Biden's administration they have been selling them to curb the rise in oil prices which obviusly is one of the few direct things a US president can do to affect oil prices.
