Comments by "Cyberfunk" (@cyberfunk3793) on "China warns the US of striking official trade deal with Taiwan | DW News" video.
High time for other countries recognize Taiwan as an intendent country according to the self determination principle: if the people in Taiwan want to have their own country instead of belong to China, who is China to prevent that from happening?

@maeudaou7347 Of course and California might be the first though if any will ever secede.

@eraserflying760 So you think that is fair? When the majority decides something in some place, there will be a war to stop them from leaving? It's not 1750 anymore, perhaps China should let people be free.

@rickstevenson9585 They probably don't want to leave, but if they did they should be allowed to. No point in fighting wars and sacrificing lives over piece of land against the will of the people living on that piece of land. Only exception is places too small to actually be independent: no point to allow every village to become a country, just not practical so there must be some minimum size limit for area and population.

@btbees1 Because you say so?

@PhoenlxA "Because secession can be dangerous and forbidden in every country on every continent." Democracy is dangerous? We call it freedom, something you puppets don't know much about. It's also not forbidden, take a look at Scotland for example: they had a referendum before and likely will again, I don't think there will be a war over it if they decide to leave. "The international communty including the USA acknowledges the one China policy: ".......there is one China and Taiwan is part of China.:"" I'm part of the international community and I don't acknowledge any of the bollocks from China or their puppets anymore. We should buy nothing from you until there is full democracy and human rights in China and they allow Taiwan to freely decide where they belong.

@ss-mn9ob "actually US constitution Doesn't Allow state unilaterally leave." Well the constitution is very old, do you think the country went to war over a state if California for example decided to leave? I don't believe they would fight a civil war over it anymore and UN principles include self determination and US is a signatory in those, so perhaps the constitution would need to be updated to modern times and more fair principles if this issue ever comes up there.

@tonyatgoogle6076 No, the people living in the place have the right to vote. People in Sweden decide what happens in Sweden, Germans don't vote in there. People in Taiwan vote what happens in Taiwan, people in China are irrelevant.

@pianonice9304 If Hawaii doesn't want to be part of the US they should be allowed to leave, but I'm fairly sure they like being Americans over there.

@tonyatgoogle6076 You believe you and all your buddies mean a majority in any state? There isn't a single state in the US where majority of the people want to secede, the most in polls has been something like a 1/4 in some republican areas which isn't enough obviously.

@pianonice9304 So you can't form an argument, can't make a point and can't talk English. Thanks for playing 50 cent troll.

@tonyatgoogle6076 Yes, as long as the area is large enough with a large enough population and not some village like I made clear in my earlier comments. Reasonable size would be a single state in the US, if you have over 50% agreeing with you in your state, you have a case for secession.

@ss-mn9ob "lol what kind joke is that. the constitution is old so ignore it. " Ever heard about this thing called progress? There is a book thousands of years old that condones slavery, do you think we should follow those laws also? "it doesn't matter what u belief. its there in the Law. there is reason it hasn't been modified yet." Laws represent the view of the people or the laws can be changed. The reason that part in the constitution has not chanced is because there has not been any need to change it. If California votes to leave, do you think there will be civil war over it? I don't think so, not enough simpletons anymore for that. They would let California go and if the constitution wouldn't allow it, it would be updated.
