They corrupt U.S. police and government officials. They bring in thousands of illegals to the U.S. Their stealing oil that the U.S. purchases. rutaloot Actually in a video vice put out a few weeks ago they said the cartels are now selling a good chunk of their drugs to the Mexican people because its becoming more and more costly to get them to America. But I get your point that's why the U.S. needs to help because it effects us just just as much as it effects them.

andresruval I agree Mexico needs financial help but you have to understand the cartels are smart their not going to let you build schools and create jobs with out their consent because that will take away their workforce. More than a few thousand work for the cartels. Its more like hundreds of thousands if you count drug dealers drug mules coyotes paid police and politicians. And i'm not talking about a full fledged invasion. More like special ops and precision bombings with the consent of the Mexican gov. These aren't revolutionaries their criminals once there is no money they will leave. And its hard to get money when your products are being destroyed by bombs and your officers being killed by men in black helicopters.

rimer82k Its not really the U.S. who sells those weapons to the cartels. Its mostly shoddy knockoffs made in some hut in the Philippians that the cartels use. they also buy the rifles in the U.S. smuggle them into mexico then make it automatic. There is also a large black market trade in weapons the U.S, give to our third world allies. Then they end up getting stolen sold or picked of the dead bodies of the people we give it to and make their way back to kill and kidnap U.S. nationals. Its really terrible when you think about it.

rutaloot Well that is really our fault for letting them do that isn't it. I mean every time I hear about a black or Hispanic gang banger being shot there are protests and riots. Do you think they are just going to let us arrest them? Fuck no they will shoot are cops and when they shoot back people will scream police state and racism.
