Sartorius988 you can't leak period if you are in the CIA. The Supreme Court said so. This guys prosecution was completly justified and legal. Though I do recongise that the government has shown hypocrasy in some case involving leaks.

David Westrup ok hear me out. If I exposed documents that make china look bad then I should be fine. But if I expose documents that make china look bad, but also release the names of several CIA agents then I will be arrested. The same with this guy, he was not arrested intill he put that agents life at risk. Some with snowden, and the wiki leaks guy, they all put multiple people's lives at risk by exposing sensative info in the wrong way, or with out cuting out parts that could kill people.

***** they said that he spoke the operative's and on live television if I recall correctly. And I agree you shouldn't follow unlawful orders, but he is still breaking the law by releasing the info. So while morally be might have been justified, we still have to make an example. Or else somthing really bad will happen again, just like how we lost the atomic bomb to spies.

Jim63071 yes we are turning into nazi germany because of fucking Obama turning this nation into a socialist hell hole. Other than that though us and the nazis are pretty far apart considering we haven't annexed land in like 80 years. Don't have racist laws, at least not anymore. And have stopped more genocides then we have started.

Jim63071 Obama introduced Obama care therefore he is a socialist. And no they are not better off then me because i can afford every thing they have and more because my taxes aren't 50% of my income like in most socialist states. Outside of a few cases most of Americas "invasions" have been complety legal and in most cases helpful. We USED to perform torture, ending it was one of the few things Obama got right. Most of Europe supports Israel too, are they all nazis as well? And yes we have stopped a fuck ton of genocide. In Angola, the Balkans, Iraq, Kuwait, Europe (we helped with world war 2), and we helped stop the slave trade, oh and Korea imagin what it would be like for them if we let them be ruled by the Kim family. And you can't forget Somalia.

***** It isn't being used openly and officially like it was. And that's good enough for me. It doesn't make our country look bad because we have plausible deniability. Yet we still have the safety provided by using our interrogation methods.
