Because at that point your denying your own people's history in an effort to wash blame away. It not even a Muslim thing! Protestants and Catholics hate each other about as much as the Sunnis and Shia do.

  2. knowledge120 well Protestants were considered heritics by the church. And it you were found in catholic territory you would probable be tortured and killed by the church and vice versa. Also there were tons of wars in France and Germany between the church and Protestant nobles.
