So, it sounds as everyone involved was being responsible and extra precautions were taken in addition to routine precautions. As a result, everyone will most likely be just fine, and further spread limited or eliminated, which is great. If anything, this is an affirmation for getting vaccinated and following CDC guidelines.

@kathyjarvis1745 ~ You're mostly correct, but just to note, no vaccine has ever provided 100% immunity. We know that the Covid-19 vaccines do provide immunity from contracting the disease, including newer, more virulent variations, in a good many people. We also know that they provide excellent immunity against serious illness and death for the vast majority of vaccinated people. Given this is a new disease, studies are ongoing to learn the precise percentage of those vaccinated with full immunity and exactly how long immunity is effective. Which is why we now see booster shots being recommended for certain groups of people, a recommendation guided by the data gathered in the studies. Given that it's only been about four months for me, I probably don't need a booster shot just yet. But I will certainly be quite happy and grateful to receive one when due! No different than getting the annual flu shot.

@lucr.otiose6045 ~ Thanks, I appreciate that, but it's really only just the truth! Had posted originally as a comment, but saw Julie's comment expressing a very similar sentiment, so thought to add another voice of reason to hers here as a reply.
