  1. Gee, it's almost like the CDC is following the science and calibrating policies accordingly in the most practicable way possible. Imagine if everyone followed the CDC recommendations, how many American lives could have been saved, and could still be saved. What has been confusing is the misinformation and disinformation that came from the former Trump administration (excluding the CDC, NIH and the Surgeon General office under that regime), and from Reich-wing media and Reich-wing sites on social media. But listening to reputable media sources such as this one explaining the recommendations, the CDC, the NIH, reputable doctors, public health experts, and epidemiologists, I have not been confused at all about the best ways to protect myself, loved ones, and others from serious injury or death from Covid-19 throughout this pandemic. What I do find puzzling is the number of Americans who are anti-science and unwilling to follow common sense health recommendations, who seemingly have a death wish and a sociopathic disregard for others well-being.

In a sane America----one where a third of the population wasn't programmed into a mindless, fascist Republican cult----we would have universal Covid-19 vaccine passports, masks and social distancing required wherever and whenever deemed necessary by public health officials, and mandatory vaccinations for all those able to receive it. Actually, in a sane America, none of that would be necessary, because everyone able would be voluntarily getting vaccinated, and everybody would be faithfully following CDC guidelines like wearing masks and socially distancing. They would be doing so because it is in their own best interest; because it is the moral and ethical thing to do to protect our fellow citizens; because we need to prevent the creation of new, more deadly variants; because it is the best way to recover the economy; because it is the best way to get things back to normal; because it is the civic, patriotic thing to do; and because it is just plain old-fashioned common sense.

Which is worse, Reich-wing media promoting Covid-19 disinformation that kills mostly Republicans, or Reich-wing media mainstreaming fascism promoting Republicans killing America? Reich-wing religious grifters, Reich-wing political grifters, Reich-wing media grifters, wellness grifters...all working in tandem to see how many Americans they can fleece and slaughter with Covid-19. And the suckers swallowing and regurgitating their poison can't admit they've been fooled, who would rather die and hurt others, call sane people "sheep."
