@Larkon979 ~ Sure thing, Doc, and I'm Bugs Bunny----see my picture? California recently became the world's fifth largest economy under Democratic leadership, bigger than any other state in the U.S., bigger than 180 other nations in the world. California also produces a good portion of the nation's food, more than any other state, as well as being the nation's technology and entertainment hub.
We got Republicans in my state trying to block and impede legal voters from voting, engaging in egregious gerrymandering, trying to cheat to win elections, besides the minor mistakes in mailing out ballots. We got skyrocketing unemployment, homelessness, price increases on food and goods, a shrinking economy, and crime (all of which began or have been exacerbated under Trump and Republican leadership). To top it off, we got massive Republican corruption.
But that's all beside the point, because this video and my comment isn't about any of that, and all you're doing is engaging in dishonest Whataboutism to deflect. Grow some integrity and get a clue----not some mindless fascist Republican cult of seditious terrorists.

@alananderson4316 ~ You're still engaging in circular logic and still being dishonest by evading the points and arguments, Doc, making you more of a moron and a hypocrite than any kind of Christian. You do not repent your wicked ways, yet you would presume to preach to others?
You get a flat tire, are you going to just sit there and proselytize and pray, or are you going to use a little common sense, get the spare out and change it over? Well, Covid-19 is no different. Pray and proselytize all you want, Covid-19 don't care. But use a little common sense, and you could save some lives----maybe even your own! You would also be helping to prevent a lot of needless suffering. That's what Jesus would do and would have you do----not hide behind your misguided selfish, self-justifying, sanctimonious, and self-convenient ignorant misinterpretations of the Bible.
Not only are you proving the point of my comment, you're also simultaneously disproving so-called "intelligent design!" If you're capable, you might want to ponder on that a bit.

@alananderson4316 ~ By the way, your "pondering" is short, narrow, and shallow, as no one knows the long-term effects of Covid-19, but there is already abundant evidence that the effects near and long-term of Covid-19 are highly likely far, far worse than any potential side-effects from the vaccine. Moreover, we know how vaccines in general work and even the MRNA vaccines are not significantly different than other vaccines which have proven their safety and efficacy over decades, saving countless millions of lives and untold human suffering. We also know that the vaccines have gone through extensive trials and both an internal and an external independent review before being approved by the FDA for emergency use.
Lots of people dying from Coivd-19, but the extremely rare few people who have died from various causes after getting the vaccine are no higher than the incidence rate of people dying from those same causes without the vaccine. But even were that not true, it's like that one-in-a-million person who was saved by not wearing a seatbelt. Which doesn't justify refusing to buckle-up, or make it smart. It only demonstrates a lack of common sense. The odds of staying safe and healthy are much greater for the vaccinated than the unvaccinated, even more so now with the Delta variant.
You're further showing your ignorance if you think my comment was about gloating. Regardless of race, creed, political ideology, ethnicity, or nationality, I really don't want to see other people dying and killing others senselessly out of pure ignorance. Christianity isn't about suicide or willful negligent homicide. Or, at least, it shouldn't be. The satirical comment is meant to provoke people to think and use a little common sense.

@alananderson4316 ~ I recommend you follow the advice of reputable doctors, medical experts, and public health officials, all of whom advise those deemed able to get the vaccine, regardless of any previous contraction of Covid-19.
No, vaccines do not make us dependent upon them or weaken our immunological response. Rather, they boost our natural immune system by teaching it to recognize certain harmful and deadly pathogens, building antibodies so that our natural immune system is able to fight off those diseases. It does the same thing our bodies would do anyway if catching the disease, without us having to get sick and possibly die from it.
No, all the evidence does NOT point to the virus being man-made or manipulated. The vast majority of virologists, biologists, and epidemiologists still believe the most likely origin is from natural causes. No, the medical and scientific experts recommending the vaccines did NOT create the disease, nor do they profit from the vaccines.
Yes, medical and public health experts recommend annual flu vaccines, because they help prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and deaths, just as with Covid-19. They do not profit from the vaccines.
In case you didn't know, vaccines have a low profit margin for pharmaceutical companies, which is why a number of them got out of the business.
Lots of people in the stock market, whether working in or outside of government, who typically have diversified portfolios that invest in proven stocks that have a high rate of return----such as pharmaceutical companies. That doesn't automatically imply any nefarious motive.
We've all seen the negative side of unethical practices by some pharmaceutical companies, but that doesn't make all of them bad, nor does it make all medicines and vaccines produced bad. Are you going to stop buying food because some companies got a little too greedy, cut too many corners, and thereby produced unsafe product at some point? Don't be silly! Besides, producing unsafe products is generally not a good business model for companies wanting to stay in business.
Nobody has to sign a waiver to get the free Covid-19 vaccine. Where did you get that nonsense from? It is common practice for the government to waive liability for pharmaceuticals approved for emergency use, because it's for an EMERGENCY, for Pete's sake! Moreover, full FDA approval is projected to happen soon, in September.
I'm not preaching Darwin...I'm preaching common sense, Doc!
