  1. The answer to Wall Street abuses isn't more stock manipulation. Are people really so dumb that they don't understand that wealthy, big investors will inevitably profit from this kind of mindless "protest," while the poor will bear the brunt of suffering? There will be a lot of innocent people who aren't wealthy losing money in the end. The wealthy can bet both sides, recouping or minimizing potential losses. Not a fan of short selling and futures markets in general, but they can be useful in punishing bad actors and pointing out underperforming companies. Support tighter regulations on Wall Street preventing it from becoming an unfettered betting casino with wild swings hurting companies and investors, with laws leveling the playing field for small investors, but manipulating the stock market to the point of destabilizing it, grossly inflating the true value of company stocks is a losing game for everyone. That's not funny, as much as one might sympathize with and share the sentiment to "stick it to the man." Support a recent proposal for a one-time tax on the wealthy who have profited from this pandemic, to be used for COVID-19 relief to Americans and businesses hurt financially.
