Posted the following as a comment here, which perhaps better sums up my earlier sentiment: Gee, who better than the amoral partisan hack, Dr. Torture Yoo, to analyze the amoral President Trump's bizarre obstruction and cover-up attempts?
Torture Yoo disingenuously claims both sides are rushing towards this Constitutional crisis, but that just isn't true. That ignores how Trump got a free pass for two years from Congressional Republicans, who were derelict in upholding their obligations to Oversight and their Oath. Dems haven't been given much time, and the clock is ticking on justice for the Mueller Report and election security for 2020. Does Torture Yoo have a better, realistic proposal for dealing with the situation caused directly by Trump, not Congress? Forget I asked--don't want Torture Yoo's opinions. But let's bear in mind who the subject of the Mueller Report is, Trump. Not any Congressional committee or chamber. The subject is the problem, not those confronting the subject out of necessity. Torture Yoo's inability to grasp that is why we don't need amoral commentators.
