Congressional Republicans have been obstructing and part of the cover-up since the Mueller Report was released -- right out in plain sight. Nadler, Pelosi and Schiff have been involved in negotiations to break the stonewalling up to this point. This will work in their favor as this issues revolve through the courts. What I suspect is that they have seen enough of Trump's intransigence that within the next week the House will issue contempt citations, along with a vote to start impeachment proceedings. I would also argue that this time since the release of the Report has been productive towards achieving impeachment in a number of ways, such as increased public support, new revelations and evidence made available, and the additional ongoing obstruction by Trump, which serve as additional articles of impeachment.

No, it isn't "all well and good." This is a basic breakdown in our government. All of that other pales in comparison. This goes to the core of our country; do we want people in Congress , the AG, or White House who are traitors to our Constitution and country? Do we want lawmakers who exchange upholding the law for power (but only for their side)? Who violate their sworn oath to protect and defend the Constitution? If they can't do that, how are they going to accomplish anything else?

***NEW CDC UPDATE*** TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) Fortunately, the disease and contagion has confined itself solely to the two Trump supporter sects, Trumputin and Trumpturd. All others have natural immunity. Expecting some casualties from this disease among the cult following Trump demise, but the general population is safe, the nation should survive, albeit with a stain upon it. Any remaining Trumpezoids should be rendered mostly harmless, although the possibility exists of continued re-cross contamination. Treatment is simple and relatively painless. Trumpezoids must be kept from spoon-fed Russian government espionage/American right-wing propaganda for an extended period, until returning back to normal.

@kenlichtenwalter2192 I agree. Campaign finance reform, ending the revolving door, and other legislation to prevent money from influencing our politicians is my number one issue. This should be the priority, because it the root of many problems and will facilitate fixing all the other problems.

@kenlichtenwalter2192 The implicit understanding of the initial comment is that the current situation with Republicans is the priority, and that was clarified in my response. As was that solving any other issues could likely only happen after the priority was dealt with. We agree on those things. There are many things being done already by Congressional Dems to address this, and there is certainly much that we, the public, can and must do to help. How to eliminate propagandist news like Fox and the partisan demagogues that give birth to the Trumps? If Trump and Barr impeached, what about Congressional Republicans complicity? These are some difficult issues to resolve.
